Meanjin 82.2 Winter 2023 marks a bold new direction for the venerable journal as well as a new designer, Stephen Banham.

To celebrate its launch, there are three events planned where we’ll meet writers and enjoy readings and conversations:

  • an afternoon in-conversation with Tom McIlroy at Muse in Canberra on Sunday 4 June
  • an evening in-conversation with Gaja Kerry and Melissa Lucashenko at kuril dhagun, State Library of Queensland on Thursday 15 June (Gaja’s 65th birthday!)
  • a laneway launch at Readings Carlton, Melbourne, on Thursday evening 29 June from 6:30pm.
