Hosted by Playable City Melbourne: a talk about how urban play could restart the world post-lockdown.

Restart the World
Friday 9 October
1:00-4:00pm AEST

Join us for a livestream moving from couch to street to desktop and explore what it means to restart and reimagine Melbourne post-pandemic. How do neighbourhoods and communities come together to create hyperlocal urban play? Can play help us reconnect with the world after lockdown? Do we still need cities at all?

Leading the conversation are Esther Anatolitis and Paul Callaghan, Manager of Arts and Creative Industry at the City of Port Phillip.

They are joined by a panel of experts in public space: Millie Cattlin (Testing Grounds), Fiona Hillary (Art in Public Space), Valli Morphett (Design Jam) and Pete Vigeant (Pac Manhattan).

Hosted by Playable City Melbourne, a project connecting music, games and fashion with public space – shaping an urban play community exploring alternate ways of being, First Peoples connection to place, and more-than-human infrastructure.
