2021 marks 200 years since the Revolution that led to the formation of the modern Greek state.

The 1821 Revolution was part of the European Enlightenment, with a strong vision for liberty, progress, tolerance, constitutional government, and the separation of church and state. It was also a time of significant creative and cultural innovation, with new language, typography and tools emerging to shape the Greece of today.

Just Gold and the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the Victorian Government, present a series of forums to place this event in its contemporary context. Each of the four sessions – Politics, Society, Arts, Women – focus on connection, cultural exchange, collaboration and innovation.
